PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS

Studying at the VU means looking beyond. Regardless of what you study, at the VU you look beyond knowledge alone. Beyond the obvious. Beyond the boundaries of your own study programme. It means studying with an open mind, always aware of what goes on in society.

The Faculty of Social Sciences offers five bachelor’s programmes. A bachelor is a three-year programme, after the completion of which you can choose to continue your studies through following a master’s programme. The Faculty of Social Sciences offers eight master’s programmes

Additionally, we offer seven pre-master programmes for students who have previously completed an HBO programme or a bachelor’s programme at a different faculty. These pre-master programmes prepare you for the adjoining master’s programmes.

Did you already apply for one of our bachelor’s or (pre)master’s programmes? Then please click on one of the following pages for important information about the start of your studies.
