Pick up your diploma

Due to COVID-19 it is unfortunately not possible to pick up your diploma at the Student Desk at the moment. Your diploma will therefore be sent by courier, unless you do not want your diploma to be sent.
As soon as your diploma is ready (printed and signed), you will receive an e-mail with a form that you need to fill in before we can send your diploma. In this form you will be asked to provide your current address details and permission to send your diploma.

If you do not want your diploma to be sent, you can collect your diploma in the new calendar year (2021) during one of the fixed monthly pick-up days at the Student Desk. The pick-up days of 2021 are expected to be announced at the end of November.

Please note: the possibility to pick up your diploma in 2021 during one of the fixed monthly pick-up days could be subject to change due to COVID-19.

If you don’t have access to VUnet anymore and you didn’t collect your diploma yet, you can collect your diploma on fixed days at the Student Desk.

  • You can pick up your diploma between 16:00 and 18:00 on every last Thursday of the month

Graduation ceremonies in 2020

Because of COVID-19 and the restrictions in the occupancy rate of the VU campus, it was decided to split the awarding of the diploma from the festive ceremony.

How the festive ceremony will be filled out differs per programme. At the moment not all details are known yet. If you have indicated on your graduation form that you would like to attend the graduation ceremony, you will receive information about the ceremony by e-mail in October.
