The two-year Master's Programme in Social Research (MSR) offers a comprehensive curriculum in research design, quantitative and qualitative research skills and disciplinary understanding that prepares talented students for advanced research in the social sciences, particularly in preparation for a PhD trajectory. Alternatively, graduates will be well qualified for advanced social research positions in national and local social research institutes, international agencies, as well as marketing and public opinion research firms.
The program offers multidisciplinary training, where students will specialize in a major track within one of five disciplines:

- Communication Science, Communication, Society and the Individual
- Organization Sciences: Networking and Organizational Renewal
- Political Sicence, Multi-Level Governance
- Sociology, Globalization and Diversity
