Schedule
The schedule for the master thesis varies per programme, but is generally as follows:

| September- December | Finding out about the different possibilities (orientation) by visiting the thesis market and consulting personal web pages. |
| November-January | Write the research proposal |
| February-April | Draw up the study design/carry out field reserach |
| March - mid- June | carry out research, write and complete thesis |
Orientation
Most of the programme departments organize a thesis market in the first half of the academic year, where you'll have the opportunity to meet professors and find out in which fields of research they work. It is important and valuable to attend this event. In addition, please visit the professor's personal web pages where you can find out more about their specialisations and areas of research, as well as their contact details.
