Our lecturers are active and successful researchers with a proven track record in scientific publishing. The instructors conduct their research in connection with disciplinary based, inter-university and/or international research networks, among which the KNAW accredited research schools play an important but not exclusive role.
Our core instructors in the Graduate programme are prominent and internationally renowned scholars, including prominent researchers such as Anton Hemerijck, Bert Klandermans, Harry Ganzeboom, Theo van Tilburg, Peter Groenewegen, Jan Kleijnnijenhuis, Henk Overbeek, Heidi Dahles, Halleh Ghorashi, Hans Keman, Saskia Keuzenkamp, Marjolein Broese Van Groenou, Hilde Bras, Ineke Nagel, Irma Mooi-Reci, Gerhard van de Bunt, Lorraine Nencel, Fleur Thomese, Barbara Vis, Paul Pennings, Jacquelien van Stekelenburg, Frank den Hond, Christine Teelken and many more.
Many of our instructors publish on regular basis in renowed journals like: American Sociological Review, American Journal of Sociology, Demography, Journal of Social Issues, Social Networks, Social Forces, Journal of Family Issues, Journal of Gerontology and many more. Not only are these instructors prominent researchers, they are also inspiring in the way they teach which has resulted in various teaching nominations and awards.
PhD candidates and MSR students highly benefit from these instructors' excellent research experience, but also from the widespread research networks and international collaborations.
