Working Group Philantropic Studies receives EC Tender from European Commission

The Directorate General For Research & Innovation of the European Commission has awarded the working group Philantropic Studies for the EC Tender “Foundations Supporting Research and Innovation in the EU”

The working group will receive € 600.000 for a study on foundations in all the 27 EU countries for a two-year term.

The working group also received the previous EC Tender.  For this EC Tender they studied how Research Universities fail or succeed in raising “Philantropic Income” The report “Giving in evidence. Fundraising from philanthropy in European universities” was finished in 2011 and will be published by the European Commission
