Master's programme

The VU University Amsterdam started in September 2004 with two English Master programs: one in Political Science and one in Social and Cultural Anthropology. It now offers the following English Master courses:

• Culture, Organization and Management
• Political Science, with the following specializations: 
• International Relations and Transnational Governance
• Comparative and European Politics
• Global Environmental Governance 
• Social and Cultural Anthropology
• Social Research
• LLM in Law and Politics of International Security

Brazilian students are able to enrol in this program of one year after they have been selected at their home university. Each Brazilian university can send two MA-students per year. To encourage (Brazilian) students to come to the Netherlands, a limited number of scholarships (covering housing expenses) is available.  
  


The Brazilian universities each offer two-year master programs. Dutch students can enrol in one of these programs for one year. They can take a Portuguese language course at one of the participating Brazilian universities.
