Thematic: governability, historical development and institutional set-up of the Dutch welfare state, labour market policies, modernization, history and geography of the northern Netherlands.
Further information
Hidde Rinze Koornstra (Adorp, 1977) studied Public Administration and Public Policy at the University of Twente, where he specialized in the institutional development of the Dutch welfare state. As of January 1st, 2009, he is a member of the research programme Governance of Activation, funded by the Stichting Instituut Gak. This programme forms part of the research group New Welfare Governance. Hidde Rinze Koornstra is a member of the Netherlands Institute of Government.
