_Streep

Jolien Arendsen did her bachelor and master Communication Science at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and specialized in marketing communication. She also did a pre-master en master in Journalism at the same university, in which she focused on new forms of journalism. After this she worked as a researcher and teacher at the School of Media of Hogeschool Windesheim and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Her research focused on the merits of local journalism and citizen journalism.
