PhD Program

The Communication Science Department offers an excellent and cooperative environment for anyone who chooses to pursue a career in communication science: Our researchers are distinguished in the field of communication science and strongly committed to research. We offer great access to extensive research facilities and intense support through the Ph.D. program. Our Ph.D. students are successfully publishing in major scientific journals and visible in the international research field (conferences, workshops, etc.).

PhD candidates are either employed by the Faculty – referred to as “promovendus” – or are external PhD candidates, meaning that their funding is covered by an outside source.
